Where are Lavyra liqueurs made?
In our workshop at the foot of Mount Etna, in eastern Sicily. Every batch is recorded and traceable, from raw material to bottle.
Where do the raw materials come from?
The myrtle for Perla Nera is our own production. Lemons, oranges and pomegranates come from certified organic Sicilian growers.
What is in the bottle?
Alcohol, water, sugar and the fruit: myrtle berries, lemon peel, orange peel or pomegranate seeds. Perla Nera and Rubino dell'Etna also contain a little honey. No artificial flavourings or colourings.
How strong are they?
Perla Nera approx. 33% ABV, Rubino dell'Etna approx. 30%, Oro dell'Etna and Lava dell'Etna approx. 36%. The exact value of each batch is on the label.
How should I serve them?
Cold. Perla Nera, Oro and Lava are at their best straight from the freezer (−18 °C); Rubino at 4–6 °C. They also work beautifully in cocktails.
Do you ship outside Italy?
Our online shop ships within Italy. For other countries, and for importers and distributors, write to info@lavyra.it: we evaluate every request, including excise documents and transport.
When will the first batch be available?
The first batch will be ready in January 2027. Quantities are small: contact us now to reserve bottles or samples.
Do you have trade prices?
Yes: tiered prices from 100 bottles, excluding VAT, on mixed orders of the four liqueurs. See the Distributors page.
Who can buy?
Only adults of legal drinking age (18+ in Italy). Please drink responsibly.
